Title: A Fight Always Follows Illumination. Sunday 12/5/21
Text:
Hebrew 10:32-35.
Jeremiah 1:12.
James 5:9
Hebrew 10:32
Jeremiah 1:12
And I heard the Spirit of God, telling the Church Dig Deep in this season. Get in the Word, and root yourself deep in God.
It is not a time to be complacent, it is not a time to be casual, it is not a time to be distracted, it is a time to be deeply devoted to Christ and be ferociously focused upon Him and what He is saying.
DON’T LET THE DISTRACTION OVERTAKE YOU.
Holy Spirit is asking us to fight , because “fighting brings illumination” revelation.
Today I want us to look at three keywords in this verse “great”, “fight”, and “affliction”….
First let's look at the word “great”. In Greek, it's the word “mega”
The second word I want you to look at is the word “fight”. It comes from the Greek word “athlesis”
The third word “affliction”. It is the Greek word for pathma
Let us pray:
“Lord as I take a stand of faith in response to that word I have received from you for my life I realized that Satan may try to use negative thoughts to war against my mind thank you for alerting me to the fact that the devil may even try to use people and circumstances to throw me off your plan for my life but I also thank you that Satan cannot stop your plan from coming to pass with your spirit illuminating my mind I know I will be able to discern the attacks of the enemy and successfully resist him and his attacks this I pray in Jesus name”
My confession and declaration.
I boldly declare that I won't back down I won't surrender to Satan’s vicious lies his attacks against my body his challenges to my finances and his assaults to my relationships regardless of how much resistance he tries to bring against me and my household I will not back down on the word that God has given unto me and this ministry I will stand fast holding tightly to what God has promised and the devil will be the one to throw in the towel under I will resist him until he flees and leaves this I declare by faith in Jesus name Amen
