Pastor Nate continues to teach on Transition and change, it is an exciting time in our lives as we move forward in Christ to advance His Kingdom.
In life we will face those "Decision Making" moments: Should I go to school?, should I get married?, Should I move out of town?, should I cut ties with some people?, etc. Those "moments" can be trying to our Faith. At those times we may face confusion or doubt and we may even grow increasing weary of "THINKING".
Well, the Bible has a lot to say about decision making and I want to share that with you on this post.
The Bible tells us that wisdom, which is what we need to make decisions, comes from God. In those moments of making decisions we should seek God's wisdom and understanding. today Pastor Jesse Duplantis tweeted: "If you want to be successful in life, you need to know everything in the Bible." studying the Word of God will open up your eyes to His heart for you. You will know what to do when you draw close to Him. Here are some scriptures to help you get started: -Brisyo
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding…
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.
He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him.
"Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."Proverbs 11:14
Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
In spite of a few glitches here and there Encounter weekend 2013 was a huge success. We saw people getting healed and delivered from sickness, sins, the past and un-forgiveness. The sweet presence of God was there all weekend Guiding us. 12 people were baptized in water and all of them experienced the Freedom of God.
We are set free to set others Free. We are healed to help others heal. We are forgiven so that we too can forgive. This is true FREEDOM. Whom the Son set free is free indeed.
I encourage all who attended to maintain this new-found freedom. There is nothing too hard for God. remember that Praise is your weapon. Determine to live a lifestyle of Repentance before the Lord. Look to fulfill the Great Commission and always remember to live in the Spirit; Live in God's presence, it's where we breathe, it's where we survive. He is but a breath away. Call on Him and He will answer.
Pastor Nate and I are proud of each of you as you leave your past behind and move into the future lighter than before.
If I brood on the Cross of Christ, I do not become a subjective pietist, interested in my own whiteness; I become dominantly concentrated on Jesus Christ's interests. Our Lord was not a recluse nor an ascetic, He did not cut Himself off from society, but He was inwardly disconnected all the time. He was not aloof, but He lived in an other world. He was so much in the ordinary world that the religious people of His day called Him a glutton and a wine-bibber. Our Lord never allowed anything to interfere with His consecration of spiritual energy.
The counterfeit of consecration is the conscious cutting off of things with the idea of storing spiritual power for use later on, but that is a hopeless mistake. The Spirit of God has spoiled the sin of a great many, yet there is no emancipation, no fullness in their lives. The kind of religious life we see abroad to-day is entirely different from the robust holiness of the life of Jesus Christ. "I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil." We are to be in the world but not of it; to he disconnected fundamentally, not externally.
We must never allow anything to interfere with the consecration of our spiritual energy. Consecration is our part, sanctification is God's part; and we have deliberately to determine to be interested only in that in which God is interested. The way to solve perplexing problems is to ask - Is this the kind of thing in which Jesus Christ is interested, or the kind of thing in which the spirit that is the antipodes of Jesus is interested? by Oswald Chambers - My Utmost for His Highest
We are headed out to the high seas of My Spirit says the Father.
You will know the billows of waves of My fullness of Love breaking over you.
I will take you down into My deep; and those on the shore will wonder what happened to you.
And you would know… we have become one in spirit.
So take a good long and last look over your shoulder says the Father. The shoreline you will see no more.
I've heard your cry. You have cried out to Me that you might know my Kingdom and its limits which I will show unto you in this season
Relinquish those petty things and petty relationships and useless time wasting soul- destroying distractions.
The TIME has COME.
I have seen your stepping…and I was the one who order them.
Here is where the difference is made says the Father between those who have known the calling and those who have accepted My choosing.
You are headed out to the high seas of FAITH.
As I read about being in the House of the Lord I was reminded of a prayer I made some time ago. I asked God to make our prayer room a place of refuge, a secret service room, sound proof and safe. A place where we can pray without fear of the devil hearing what’s on our heart and interfering in our affairs. At the time I didn’t know if that prayer was even correct but in Psalm 27 King David talks about a place where we are concealed from the enemy, a high place, a secret place where we are hidden from our foes; the Lord’s House, His Temple.
The Lord’s House is any where an Altar has been built. The Lord’s Temple is even within ourselves for our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
When we Build an Altar for God in our Home we can enter into a safe place at any time when in trouble. If we are not home and we have built an Altar in our hearts we can get to that safe place INSTANTLY where ever we are.
