Numbers 13:30 “Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, ‘We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we shall surely overcome it.’”
Stubbornness in people is generally not a good trait because it blocks people from considering other views and opening themselves up to outside influences. But in this case of Caleb’s speech before Israel as Moses looked on in approval, stubborn faith was the level of belief that was needed at this crucial time. Israel should have joined Caleb in his unyielding faith, insisting that God was with them and that He would overcome the obstacles they were facing. This is the perseverance that plows through problems and the guts that gets past giants! The driving motive is to take hold of everything that God has for us! Let’s dig our heels in with unmoved, stubborn faith!
On 7.7.2013 we gathered together with a group of believers at Glenville Church. We came together to worship our Lord, there was such an amazingly free atmosphere. There was deliverance, healing, freedom of expression in Dance, freedom in releasing the sound within. When we sang out "Let it Rain" suddenly it began to rain outside. We felt it was God showing us that He hears us.
This event was themed "Resound: A Night of Unity in Worship" There was such Unity in our Diversity: It was a picture of the church, in all it's beauty, the way God wants it.
What a way to start the month of July and we are ending the month of July with another gathering of believers themed "Releasing a Now Sound of Justice" we couldn't have planned it if we would have tried!
God is our great orchestra conductor, He stands quietly at the music stand, raises his hands and gracefully leads us into making a beautiful sound; a sound so strong that it penetrates the hearts of the broken, soothes the weary soul, refreshes the thirsty, heals the sick, delivers the captives, sets young hearts on fire for the Kingdom, and awakens the saints to a dance so lovely yet so powerful that every demon has to flee!
For more information on the July 26-28 event see the Flyer on the Home Page...I hope to see you there.
