An Exhortation to Worship Teams
by Brisy Ortiz
Performance as a Christian comes from a place of response not a place of lack.
In other words we respond in action to what God has already Done.
You are Anointed:
We receive or respond to that which we already are.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says: if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
Cristos – is the Greek word for Christ which means “The Anointed One”
We are in Christ and He is in us. The Anointed One is in us and so:
Acts 17:28 says: for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
We must walk in the Anointing. The Anointing commands a shift in the Atmosphere. It is important to note that the responsibility to change the Atmosphere lays on the Anointed Ones. Who are the Anointed ones?? You who are in Christ Jesus.
We can go to church and say, “today's service was a bust and not take some responsibility for that, since you are also responsible to Respond to what God has done. IT STARTS WITH A PRAISE and Thanksgiving!
The Anointing is for Power
The Anointing is for Healing
The Anointing is for Deliverance
The Anointing is for Others not for yourself. (we receive power to bring people to God and God to people)
Davidic Worship Anointing
That means that we operate as The Prophet, the Priests and the King
We come with power to establish and decree the Kingdom on Earth prophetically
· Remember that the Spirit of Prophecy is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Everything we say and do needs to point to Christ.
· Christ is also the Word of God. remember to use the Word of God to pray life into those who need deliverance/ healing
· Sing the Word with confidence in the power of the Word of God.
The Anointing will cost you your own opinion and ideologies. It requires a death to self. At the time when you decide to respond to the Anointing that’s in you, which is Christ Jesus, himself, you must them submit to His leading.
HEALING – Hear and Be Healed
“The Yoke shall be destroyed because of the Anointing” (Isaiah 10:27)
Whatever the bondage, it’s the Anointing that breaks the yoke.
The Table is prepared- Healing and Deliverance is the inheritance of the children of God.
ISAIAH 59:21 “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”
Jesus is the Anointed One, The Cristos
ISAIAH 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
Anointed to Preach and To Heal
Luke 4:4 But Jesus answered him, saying,[b] “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ (To hear)
Luke 4:16-28 Jesus is not accepted (heard) in Nazareth. He prophetically reminds them of Elijah who was only able to heal Naaman. Why Naaman? If you remember this story, Naaman had leprosy. He was also full of pride, we know this because, He wanted to be healed but initially, did not want to follow the prophet’s instructions, which was to dip himself in the dirty Jordan river 7 times. He finally accepted these instructions and came up healed completely.
Jesus makes reference to the fact that he was the only one healed even though there were many afflicted with Leprosy in that area at that time. He was obedient to the prophet’s instructions. (He heard and was healed)
--Notice that Jesus' kinsmen, country men did not want to hear him.
How were people healed in Galilee?
Luke 5:15 Great multitudes came to Hear and Be Healed of their infirmities
· Many people want to be healed but few want to hear.
· Here is another great multitude in Judea
· People with unclean spirits were healed that is made whole. And the whole multitude was healed of their unclean spirits and sicknesses.
· The power of God does the whole work of God. The Anointing does a complete work.
Hear, Respond and Be Healed
Energy! Whew, where does it come from??
Today I worked on 2 pending correspondences. One, of which, was pending for 2 weeks!! Between moving and work I couldn't find the time or energy to even want to do it. Have you ever been there?
Last night I made a prayer that I often do when I just don't "WANT" to do something. It's like those energy bars or drinks that you take once in a while when you have to push hard and don't have the strength.
"Lord, give me your energy, I have none left. I am depleted and need You more. Help me to WANT to do the things that I need to do...You are faithful to meet me where I fall short..do it again, Lord. Amen"
This morning I was a little more creative, a little more WILLING, a little more ready to face the challenges of the Day.
It's High energy Thursday, friends! Press on! Stay focused, stay the course.
“Through all the chaos and noise in the world, God can still hear the whispered prayer of His child.” –unknown
"Mom, do you know why I pray with my hands folded together?" asked my daughter, Xaris, who went on to explain to me that her prayers go into her hands and as she releases her hands the prayers fly up to the heavens and into God's heart. Micah, my youngest went on to explain that his prayers are between his hands like a laser! As he prays his prayers shoot out like the Laser in the Light Saber from Star Wars! Kids have a wonderful imagination that empowers them to believe!
Prayer is a Wonder and Intercession is the Ministry of Jesus Himself and we are called to join Him in it.
To Intercede means to: intervene on behalf of another, to mediate, to negotiate, to commit to praying for another. I too have a wild imagination like my kids and God has let me use it, so allow me to give you a picture of what Intercession is. I see intercessors as the Spiritual Police or Law-enforcers of the spirit realm. They stand in the gap with “Sword” in hand like Micah’s Light Saber, weapons of praise and worship drawn, ready to fight in the spirit, on their Knees!
I heard someone say once that, when a Prayer Warrior gets on his or her knees the battle is not over, it’s only just begun.
I believe Intercession is the responsibility of all of God’s children. We are all called to pray and pray for everything and everyone. But is everyone ready or able to engage in Spiritual Warfare?
Like Xaris’ intimate interpretation of her prayers that were released from her hands to God’s heart, we are also, invited into a loving, heart-to-heart, relationship with God as Father and friend. Our Journey to intercession begins here. God loves to commune with us because He loves us and we are His children and as a bonus for spending time with Him we are renewed. He desires that our mind is renewed and transformed into the image of His son Jesus Christ so that we become Re-presenters of Him here on earth and the spirit realm where we go into war. Communion with Him is a pathway to renewal and effective service.
Intercession begins with Intimacy and we should be motivated by love.
1. God wants our friendship more than he wants our good works. In Mark 16 we read how Jesus appeared to the Disciples first before He gave them instruction to “go and preach the good news to everyone”.
Intimacy, spent in prayer and reading scripture is a place of impartation where God imparts his love for others into us. As we become His friend we then become his partners in ministry. He invites us to share in some secrets. He let’s us in on some things- Discernment becomes stronger.
2. Before we can engage in Spiritual warfare we need to get to know God’s heart. And we can only know Him in a place of intimacy. It is there that he can purify us and sanctify us so that we can become, first, His Friends, then His messengers, vessels, and intercessors. (How can we declare and decree if we don’t know the heart of the Father?)
3. Friendship with our Father makes us powerful over comers. As we are sanctified we are empowered. Holiness is for Power. But we are made holy (set-apart, changed, transformed), as we become Friends of God. Intimacy is everything!
4.Intimacy with God will cause your intercession to defeat the Giants of your life and the life of others.
2 Cor. 10:5 …casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
In a time of prayer early in my walk with God, I had a vision as I asked God to help me submit my own emotions and thoughts to Him. I saw a Tornado and instantly I knew that the Tornado was my emotions and that I have been a tornado of emotions and thoughts destroying everything in the way. I began to cry and I saw a lasso being tossed around the neck of the Tornado. I felt the Lord lead me to pray that my thoughts and emotions are to submit to the authority of Christ like a bull submits to the lasso of a cowboy. He was taming them as I gave in to His mind and His heart. As I released my heart to Him, He in turn released boldness and assistance as I took captive my thoughts and emotions. 2 Corinthians 10:5 became alive before my eyes that day and changed my life in prayer.
I began to thank the Lord for the sensitivity He was awakening me to in times of intimacy with Him. That day He taught me an effective prayer that heals and delivers. He was my Father, my Friend and Partner in ministry all at once, but it started with my own repentance and submission to Him.
When we begin there, our heart softens and gets filled with the Love of God so that we can intercede with Love and Humility and not suspicion, anger, bitterness or from a place of pride or arrogance.
If we come to the Lord with a heart ready to encounter Him first in that place of prayer and intercession, He promises to hear us from Heaven and Heal our Land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
In her white dress she walks about
in her long beautiful gown that flows out
onto the streets like a waterfall of sorts
she graciously scans the streets looking for a place to rest
but along the way, what she encounters, is unrest
she is filled with compassion for the lost and helpless
for the broken and heavy laden
she scurries to pick each little one up
into her arms she tries to carry them all,
some just want out while others lay lifeless feeling hopeless
Her dress is stained as chaos bleeds
Her dress is ripped by the ones who hate her speech
She is not loved in the streets
Some of her very own hate her
Some of her very own look down at her
But onward she goes
weary she continues to flow
she is eternal
she is endless
Bought with a price to recue the captives
It is no secret that change is upon us in our Nation and for those who have an eye to see and an ear to hear, we can see the effects of the changes leaking into the Church.
In particular I have heard hate being spewed at God's people in these months. People have said things about the Church (The Universal Church) that have hurt my heart.
God reminded me that He loves the Church. He paid a price for Her. She is the Apple of His Eye. She is His Portion. She is His Bride. She is also Jerusalem. His love for the Redeemed Ones goes farther and deeper than what we could ever imagine.
We all know and accept the Love God has for us as individuals but have we accepted that He has a zeal and a very special love and affection for the Church as a whole?
She is His Throne (He inhabits upon the Worship of His people and He is enthroned upon our Praise)
Jerusalem will be the new Ark- God's Throne All the godless nations, no longer stuck in the ruts of their evil ways, will gather there to honor God.
She is His lovely Bride in whom He rejoices
Song of Solomon 3:11
Come and look, sisters in Jerusalem. Oh, sisters of Zion, don't miss this! My King-lover, dressed and garlanded for His wedding, His heart is full, bursting with joy!
He weeps over her - she did not know her hour of Visitation (are we welcoming Him?)
When the city came into view, he wept over it. “If you had only recognized this day, and everything that was good for you! But now it’s too late. In the days ahead your enemies are going to bring up their heavy artillery and surround you, pressing in from every side. They’ll smash you and your babies on the pavement. Not one stone will be left intact. All this because you didn’t recognize and welcome God’s personal visit.”
Anytime we read about God's affections toward Jerusalem in the Bible we need to remember that He is talking about His redeemed ones too, you and I, The Church. We can apply it to ourselves most of the time.
As we pray we should remember these key questions:
My prayer for you today:
May they fall more in love with You God and may they love the church enough to defend her. May they be proud to be The Church, The Bride of Christ. May Love flow out of Her as she seeks to rescue the lost.
May You Lord, be enthroned upon the praises of a thousand generations. You are worthy.
May you be blessed to know that you are His most prized possession!
People are on the edge like never before about the United States Presidential Elections.
The Media is playing both sides like a puppeteer, manipulating every scene with it’s own agenda. Every story is exaggerated and colorful to fit their goal.
The people are forced to watch the defamation of a man and woman. We watch as the media chews them up and spits them out with every news release.
Reflecting on all of this, I can’t even imagine what our Nominees’ families must be going through as they endure the harsh exposure of their lives. It’s heart-breaking and shameful to our country.
Many people of this country and the world who is watching, are being fooled and manipulated and don’t know it. The media has become a god to our nation, a sort of fantasy matrix. It often is believed above credible sources, as actual reality. We see how people believe someone is a wolf because they saw it on TV.
People fail to remember that real evil wolves come in sheep’s clothing.
The problem is that we have gotten used to the Sheep’s clothing, the Cloak of Political Correctness.
We are so blinded by it that when someone comes at us in their authenticity, being who they really are and withholding nothing about how they really see and feel about our government, we call them evil, wrong, and incorrect in their speech. We forget that we have different perspectives and experiences that validate our opinion or feelings.
The same people who argue for “freedom of speech” want to silence those who are authentic and unveiled.
Those who scream for tolerance suddenly can’t tolerate those of us who were silent and now are rising up with something to say.
The very people (the media) who call for unity are causing division. They themselves are being manipulated and deceived as the media gods accomplish their agenda.
I have heard the arguments that a man who lacks good character and personality should not be president. A woman who lies and cheats should not be president. At the same time, we hear people say that the church needs to keep their nose out of the political scene, yet the same people insist on using Godly principles to judge our candidates. Do I hear a double standard?
If I am really going to separate my faith from this whole situation, then I can’t judge our candidates on their past moral behavior. I must treat them like I would treat any other civil servant and ask the question, “Can you do the JOB and bring real, much-needed change?”
But if I am going to judge according to my faith then I must understand and accept that God works in mysterious ways, and that the people’s choice is not always the best choice. That God really has the last word and I am a humble servant who has a responsibility to respond to my civil duty and just VOTE. I must then, according to my faith, pray for the Lord’s will to be made manifest. I must remember that if I vote for a person who will up hold laws that go against what I know is right before God I will be held accountable for my choice.
My Heart is broken over this more than anything. The people have put themselves on the judgement seat and are blinded by the most important aspect which is “who can do the job of the president?”
They can’t see the Forest for the Trees!
meaning that if you look at things one at a time, you might not realize that a branch of separate "trees" go together to make a "forest". We have focused on the many details thrown at us by the media that we have failed to see the big picture and missed the point.
Everyone has been begging for a real change in America, those who don’t think anything is wrong, are in their own little world living a fantasy. But for those of us who are in the trenches, we see much room for change and for the better. Could it be possible that what we have been praying for is right under our noses but we don’t like the smell?
Beloved, changes don’t always feel good or look good. But when we yield to the process, step back, forget the smell, look up and change our perspective, we will then see the forest that is in front of us.
I would like to present a series of questions to help you and I decide who to vote for this Election Season. I am in no way a Politician nor do I aspire to be. I am only acting in obedience to the urgency that is in my heart to help some people sort their thoughts and fall out of the grip of the real wolf in this story, THE MEDIA.
My desire is that anyone reading this simple blog will reflect on your own heart. Take some time to seek out the Truth, look up and around you, see the bigger picture and I promise it will set you free.
1. When it comes to elections how do you feel? Are you afraid to vote or are you indifferent (unconcerned)?
2. Do you love our Nation, your home?
3. How do you think our Nation is doing?
4. Would you say that we are headed in the right direction or wrong direction?
5. Do you believe that you can make a difference, and do you even want to?
6. Do you stand up for your values and want them protected?
7. Which nominee values the same things you do?
8. If you believe we need change, Which nominee do you believe can really make things interesting and promote the most change in the coming year?
Doing my Part,
Don't allow yourself to be manipulated by the details, the apparent sheep. Passivity never did anything great.
Be the Light, it's your duty and your Right.
There we were sitting at Dunkin Donuts and a 4-year-old boy sits fidgeting in the small booth next to us. He is waiting for his ice cream cone. We carry on with our conversation minding our business when suddenly I notice from the corner of my eye, a little head full of angelic, blonde hair bobbing up and down, he is now licking his arm! Sadly, his cone had fallen and hit his arm, he knew he couldn’t eat the cone that was on the floor so he proceeded to lick what was left, off his little arm. His parents got him another cone and as they began to settle into their seat to enjoy their iced coffee, the fidgety carefree, little boy knocks over his mother’s iced coffee. It was a mess! Some splashed on me and it was all over the floor and booth. It would have been laughable but the air got thick with the awkwardness of the situation. My heart broke for the parents as they struggled to clean as much as they could and move their son into a place where he wouldn’t cause any more trouble. He ended up in a corner of the store, waiting with his eyes wide open, probably wondering, “What just happened?”
As I meditated on this situation I remembered that parenting in general is messy and sometimes awkward. But growing up is messy too. Our spiritual walk can be very much like this scenario. One minute we are being obedient to our parents, sitting still waiting for our treat, then we get excited in the process as we receive and drop, misplace, mishandle the blessings. We get messy. We lose our cool. We get desperate and like this little boy who resorted to licking his arm, we try to find whatever we can to satisfy our need, hunger or desire. We look silly some times. We become out of control. God gives us second chances and starts over with us, we begin our course again only to get fidgety and knock things over in our lives. For some of us the process is long and repetitive until we find ourselves in a corner wondering, “what just happened?”.
Those corners that we come to are places of reflection, places where we recalculate and think about what just happened. It’s the secret place of our heart reserved for God. It’s a place of correction and repentance. Have you been there lately? We’ve all seen it, some kids just don’t stay there very long. They want out, right away! The parent has to pin them down to that “Time-Out”. But we know that those times are necessary.
That sweet mom looked so stressed out. I went to her after a few minutes and asked her if I could give her a hug. She melted into my arms and began to cry as I prayed for her. Parenting is not easy. As a matter of fact, sometimes it can be a down-right nightmare. It may seem like you will never get past this stage, but it will pass, and as I told the mother of this 4-year-old, 10 years from now you are going to look back at all this and laugh!
beloved, you are growing up. Whether you are the child or the parent, we are all in a continuous demand to grow. The process is hard. The process is messy. But if you stay the course, have ears to hear instruction and allow the Lord to redeem you in the secret place, I promise you, one day, you will look back at all of this with a full heart and laugh!

Reflecting on the series of event this past week leading up to this Sunday, I can’t help but to remember a story told in Acts 5:1-11. A story of a couple who drops dead after lying to the Apostles about how much they actually sold their property for. But I’m not thinking about them as much as I’m thinking about the group of young men that were assigned to “remove the dead bodies out of the temple”.
This week I witnessed how God used and ordered the steps of a group of young adults at RED to “remove” some dead things out of our church. The Lord graciously activated their gifts. Some dreamed, while others Saw in the Spirit and some Sensed and quickly discerned and others just plain out had encounters with the “dead” things. But they all responded in Spiritual Warfare! They heard the call of God to step into the Gap and travail in prayer and worship. They quickly responded with their eyes on Jesus and walked and moved in the authority of God.
Our team has tremendous maturity and they continue to grow. I am proud of them. They removed some dead things in the spirit this week. There was not only a cleaning of the Building in the natural, but we witnessed a cleaning in the spiritual. What a blessing and honor to have experienced God’s quick response to our prayers and declarations as a group!
Matthew 18:18-20 came to life right before our eyes!!
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
There is Power in fervent Intercessory Prayer!
I made my son cry over his Homework issues, my heart was broken.
The car I wanted got sold a few hours before I called in to accept the offer, my heart was broken.
The banker tells me he didn’t want to set me up for disappointment so he suggested that I not apply for a Pre-approval at this time for the purchase of a new home, my heart was broken, anyway.
The Realtor tells me your house is going to be hard to sell, you need to stay there and try to pay down that mortgage for a while longer, my heart was broken, yet again.
I had my heart set on singing a song that tells my story. A story of a soul that has nothing to offer but a Broken and contrite heart. No practice, some frustration, my heart, once and again, broken.
But the Lord is worthy, He is still Lord of all. You see, nothing is ever a coincidence. My life has been one heart-break after another but the most beautiful broken hearts are the ones that I’ve brought to my Eternal Father. It is well with my soul. I will wait on the Lord. I lay down my agenda. I lay down my heart-ache. I lay down my pain, my sorrow, my shame.
I sing out to my King, “You are Worthy and I will Ever Praise You. Here is my broken heart once and again.
A few weeks ago I had an impressive dream:
I was sitting at a round table with Young adults: I was explaining to them or going over with them about identity.
I explained that:
You must understand and internalize that you are a daughter of A King. We need to know in our hearts, and understand that God has placed a Crown on our heads. We do not see it in the natural but it is there in the Spiritual.
When we forget who we are, it's like taking the Crown off. When the devil comes to sift us, tempt us or confuse us if we have our Crown on and we KNOW who we are, The enemy is Blinded by the Light of Christ (Sun of Righteousness -Malachi 4:2) that reflects off the precious metals of the Crown.
Then I actually saw what I was sharing with them, I saw myself with a crown on my head, Satan approaching and Christ Stood with a great light behind and to the right of satan. The light of Christ shone so strong that it reflected off my Crown making me nearly invisible to the enemy. then I felt myself fear and I began to take the crown off which made me increasingly susceptible, visible to the enemy approaching, I felt Jesus signal me to put the Crown back on, I can sense He was smiling, not shaken calm and cool! It was like He was showing me how Crowns work! LOL
This is what I got from the Dream:
Crown represents consecration (a Setting apart), honor, exaltation. we also know that in the natural it means Authority, Identity, Strength. Paul uses Crown to talk about the Garland that was placed on the head of a Victor, someone whom has won a race. Taking the Crown off is a sign of shame.
Meaning that when we sin we unintentionally take our Crown off.
When we Hide from God we take our Crown off.
When we fear, we take our Crown off.
When we don't have faith we in essence are forgetting the promises of God, and thus our identity in Christ which, in turn, removes our Crown.
When we remove our Crown, any time we do; we become vulnerable to the enemy. losing our authority as a believer.
Believers have an advantage that if we stand on our identity as SONS and DUAGHTERS that Crown- Our Identity- that is placed on our heads is our protection, it's what we hide behind, it's what Christ uses to hide us from the enemy. His Light-glory-, on our Crowns (knowledge of who we are) is our helmet of Salvation. Salvation in Christ gives us identity. This makes IDENTITY everything, to surviving spiritual warfare.
Someone who knows who they are is victorious.
I feel like God is saying I'm looking for people who will become my Sons and know they are my Sons and Daughters. so that, they may be active in their Authority and so that I can reflect my Glory on them.
Know Who You Are.
1 Samuel 15:22
But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat rams.
King Saul set out to do something seemingly good when he decided to take the plunder from the Amalekites with the idea of using the sheep and cattle to sacrifice them unto the Lord. But God had not told him to do that. He specifically told him not to take anything with him.
As we set out to accomplish our goals and dreams there are many sacrifices that are required. Such as, if you want to lose weight you have to sacrifice time to exercise, make better food choices, submit yourself to some sort of rigid discipline and subject yourself to self-consciousness and self-criticism if you fail. Now sacrifice is not at all bad. Notice that in the scripture it says, Obeying is “better” than Sacrifice. This tells us that sacrifices are ok, but ONE thing is better and that is Obeying God’s commands.
But why is it “better”?
It all comes down to where you put your trust. You see, sacrifice means independence from God. Sacrifices are seen, heard, smelled, touched. Sacrifices show the world our efforts in trying to DO good. And while this is noble in the eyes of man, it is also very blinding and threatens to pull us away from God. Blinding because in all our efforts to do good we are blinded by our own light which is pride. “Look what I did!” “I nailed it!” now this isn’t so bad either but eventually we can forget how “The Lord, is my strength and my Salvation”, “I couldn’t have done this without Him”.
Sacrifices are for the World to see. If King Saul would have obeyed God, he would have had to go back to the people empty handed and they probably would have questioned him and thought he was crazy. Having plunder and bringing it back to the people, holding a large celebratory feast and having something to place on the Altar sounded much more appealing and satisfying. “I didn’t go through all this, to have nothing to show for it!” I mean, after all he didn’t have Social media to post a Selfie with the defeated Amalekite Army behind him!
Sacrifices are hard work too. Imagine after this long war that the Israelites fought with King Saul and then having to haul all of those cattle and sheep and things back home only to be rebuked by the Prophet for your disobedience. Life is like that for us too. We set out to help ourselves and make a lot of sacrifices with the intension to be better and improve our temporary lives on this earth and fail to invest in the Eternal Being that we really are.
Working hard and doing the right thing is not bad at all, in fact it is necessary and noble but don’t get so wrapped up in this temporary life that we become tired, worn down and blinded by The Lust of the Flesh, The Lust of the Eyes and The Pride of Life for this comes from the world and not from the Father, as it says in 1 John 2:16.
Instead, Obey the Lord. He says, “Trust Me.” He says, “Do not boast about tomorrow…and let another praise you, and not your own mouth.” He said, “do not covet your neighbor’s house/ things.”
Obedience, requires patience, trust, stillness, obscurity. It may mean, that you will be rejected, unaccepted and misunderstood. It may mean that no one will ever know what you have had to go through. It may mean that no one will ever see what God asked you to “let Go” of or “sacrifice” for Him. But God said it’s better. He promises to fulfill His purposes in your life if you trust Him. His rewards, accolades and promotions are better when we Obey Him versus Sacrifice.
Are we sacrificing our Love for God to gain the things of this world, so that we can shine? Or are we leaning in to hear His heart for our lives and believing for Him to guide our steps into an Eternal Transformation that promises to make us shine by His grace and for His Glory?
